We plan to paint the exterior with traditional,
natural lime wash and oil the wood with linseed oil.
Schedule:
On the evening of your arrival, we’ll meet up to
get to know one another and have a meal together.
Over the following days, we start by energising ourselves
with Chi exercises. This is followed by reading
the day’s lesson together and a period of silence or an
exercise related to it.
We will work for approx. 2 x 1.5-hour sessions and
set aside time for 1–2 x 1.5-hour group sessions
involving reading and discussing the course material, quiet time, constellations, group exercises and sharing, or we will go on walks together and and excursions (e.g. to the river or the seaside) – or whatever Guidance has in store for us.
The work camp gives us the opportunity to find a healing way of interacting with one another, grounded in a spirit of forgiveness, and to address the issues that arise within the group dynamics during the group sessions.

Don’t worry – there are plenty of ways you can make yourself useful. Perhaps you’d like to prepare breakfast for everyone, do the cooking or go shopping. Please get in touch with me so we can find a solution that suits you.
During the work camps and retreats, we do not tolerate alcohol or illegal drugs on the premises.
The location:
The self-catering holiday apartments at Casa Rural El Alambique, complete with a swimming pool, are situated in the mountains of the province of Málaga, approximately 40 minutes south of Ronda. The property is located at an altitude of 700 metres on the eastern slope and features a large garden with fruit trees. It is bordered by a stream which forms a waterfall at the lower end of the property, although it does not always carry water. In the surrounding area, you can go hiking, including through cork oak forests and along beautiful rivers. The area has plenty of water by Andalusian standards. The sea is about a 45-minute drive away.

Accommodation costs (self-catering rates):
The holiday apartments have a total of 9 single beds – 6 of which are in the shared room in the mill – and 5 double beds. A single bed in the shared room in the mill costs CHF 20 per night, a room with a double bed costs CHF 60 per night, and an alcove behind a curtain with two single beds costs CHF 60 per night. There are two separate apartments, both of which have a bathroom with shower and a living room with kitchenette,
⁃ Casita del Sol is a separate cottage with a kitchen, a bathroom with a shower and a bedroom with a double bed (1 person CHF 80 per night, 2 people CHF 100 per night for the whole cottage)
⁃ Casita del Árbol is a separate cottage with a kitchen, a bathroom with shower and a bedroom with a double bed (1 person 80 CHF/night, 2 people 100 CHF/night for the entire cottage)
⁃ Casa Algegría has two separate rooms, one with a double bed (60 CHF/night) and one with two single beds (60 CHF/night).

Meals:
We do our shopping together and share the costs between us. We coordinate with each other when it comes to preparing meals. As we mainly use regional and - with the exception of eggs - vegan ingredients, the costs are usually less than €10 a day.
The climate:
In summer (June to August), it gets hot during the day. Pleasant, mild summer temperatures are common from March to May and from September to October. It can get quite chilly in January and February. When the sun is shining, it always feels warm and temperatures can rise to 16–18 degrees. When it’s overcast, it can be quite chilly. When it rains in winter, daytime temperatures drop to 10–11 degrees, and at night it can fall below freezing. The houses are heated by wood-burning stoves.
However, in recent years, the weather has not followed the patterns seen in the past. This year, March and April were surprisingly cool and rainy, whilst in November and December the weather was pleasantly warm, with daytime temperatures reaching 25°C.
